I wandered lonely as a lowly clown,
A sea of hops, through dead of night I sailed.
From whence this smile was once a furrowed frown,
All alone, all afraid, where no hope prevailed.
Hard port, stern scraped, bough broke, around around,
An isle of solitude for all my sins.
With this rounded chap that had run aground,
There were far more losses than there were wins.
A brocken spectre lit my horizon,
Mesmerizing radiance that saved me,
Lifting me up from that place so wizen,
And now charting joint paths on the same sea.
All days were nights until I did find you,
Light of my life, my love for you is true.
